PROCEDURE
Ceramics
Anterior shade matching is where labs lose cases and clinicians lose trust. Dani Dental's ceramics workflow pairs IPS e.max and Vita Suprinity stacking with direct technician, to, doctor communication on every case, so shade approvals happen in one round, not three.
- Margins verified against your prescription
- Pre-paid two-way shipping
- Talk to the technician who built it
- Full digital workflow
Every ceramic case at Dani Dental opens with a pre, fabrication shade consult. The technician assigned to the case reviews the digital scan or impression, the shade tab photo under natural light, and any clinical notes before a single ingot is pressed. If the submitted photos are insufficient to commit to a shade, the technician calls the prescribing doctor directly, same day. We do not guess and we do not batch the conversation into a remake after delivery. For pressed ceramic units, Dani Dental works primarily with the Ivoclar IPS e.max CAD and IPS e.max Press systems, selected because the lithium disilicate matrix allows predictable light transmission in the 1.0, 1.5 mm range without opacity spikes. Vita Suprinity zirconia, reinforced lithium silicate is the secondary material for posterior units where fracture resistance outweighs translucency requirements. Material selection is documented on the case card, not left to production, floor discretion. Layered and cutback anterior cases go to a single named technician from ingot to glaze. No handoff between a pressing tech and a stacking tech mid, case. This matters because layering decisions, including incisal haze, characterization placement, and glaze texture, require reading the case as a whole. Splitting those steps between two people who do not communicate in real time produces the kind of average shade result that looks fine in isolation and wrong in the mouth next to the natural dentition. For full, arch ceramic cases, particularly anterior veneers in sets of eight to twelve, Dani Dental runs a bisque, bake try, in protocol as standard, not as an upsell. The bisque return is reviewed by the same technician who stacked the case. Adjustments are documented in writing on the case card so the final glaze stage has an explicit reference point. Prosthodontists working complex smile design cases can request a pre, bisque digital mockup reviewed against the pre, op CBCT or intraoral scan before pressing begins. Finished ceramic units ship with the case technician's direct line printed on the delivery slip. Not a general lab number. Not a support queue. The technician who built the case. If there is a shade question in the chair, the doctor has 30 seconds to reach the right person. That is not a marketing claim; it is the operational standard Dani Dental has run since the Tempe practice expansion in 2019.
