Every flexible denture case at Dani Dental opens with a prescription review call or written clarification if the Rx is incomplete. We do not guess at tissue shade, extension boundaries, or occlusal vertical dimension. That single step eliminates the majority of avoidable remakes before fabrication begins. Turnaround does not start until the prescription is confirmed, which keeps our 5-day window honest. The fabrication base is Valplast thermoplastic nylon, poured and processed in-house on our dedicated injection press, not outsourced to a milling center. Wall thickness is controlled to 1.2-1.8 mm depending on arch position and span length, calibrated against the master model. Tissue surface adaptation follows a two-stage pressure-forming protocol that reduces voids at the denture border, the most common cause of post-delivery sore spots in flexible partials. Tooth selection uses Ivoclar Phonares II anteriors for anterior and premolar positions, matched against the patient's existing dentition when photos or opposing models are provided. Posterior teeth are selected from the same Ivoclar cross-linked acrylic line for wear compatibility. Shade verification happens under two light sources, daylight-balanced and incandescent, before the case is packaged. Before a case ships, the assigned technician runs a physical fit check on the articulated model: full seating confirmed, occlusal contacts verified at prescribed OVD, and borders palpated for sharp transitions. A case summary sheet ships with every partial, listing the Valplast lot number, tooth mould and shade codes, and the technician's direct phone number. If a seating issue surfaces within 30 days of delivery, we resolve it at no remake charge. For prosthodontists managing complex partial scenarios, including distal-extension cases or patients with advanced periodontal mobility, we offer a pre-fabrication planning call with the lead technician. That conversation typically runs 10-15 minutes and covers extension design, tissue relief zones, and whether a flexible partial is the right prosthetic choice or whether a cast metal partial would serve the case better. We will tell a referring doctor when the wrong prosthetic is on the Rx. That is not common, but it matters when it happens.

What materials does Dani Dental use for flexible dentures?
We fabricate flexible partials using Valplast thermoplastic nylon, processed on an in-house injection press. Teeth are Ivoclar Phonares II for anterior and premolar positions, with matching cross-linked acrylic posteriors for wear compatibility. Every Valplast lot number is documented on the case summary sheet that ships with the finished partial, so your records reflect the exact material used.
What is the standard turnaround time for a flexible partial?
Five business days from confirmed prescription approval to case shipment. Turnaround starts when the Rx is complete, not when the package arrives. If your impression arrives with an incomplete prescription, we contact you the same day to clarify rather than hold the case in queue. Rush scheduling to 3 business days is available on request, subject to current production load.
Do you accept digital impressions for flexible denture cases?
Yes. We accept STL files from all major intraoral scanner platforms, including iTero, 3Shape TRIOS, and Medit i700. Digital cases follow the same 5-day turnaround from prescription confirmation. We print a physical working model in-house for the injection fit check before shipping, so digital submission does not skip the physical QC step that catches border and seating issues.
How do you handle shade matching for flexible partials?
Shade verification runs under two light sources, daylight-balanced and incandescent, before packaging. We request a photo of the patient's existing dentition or adjacent teeth whenever possible. If your Rx includes a photo, the assigned technician references it directly. If shade selection is ambiguous from the Rx alone, we call before selecting rather than making an assumption that creates a remake.
What is your remake policy if a flexible partial does not seat correctly?
If a seating issue is identified within 30 days of delivery and the cause is fabrication-related, we remake at no charge. The case summary sheet that ships with every partial includes the technician's direct phone number. Call that number, not the general line. You reach the person who built the case, which cuts resolution time significantly compared to routing through a service queue.
Can Dani Dental fabricate flexible dentures for distal-extension cases?
Yes, with a planning conversation first. Distal-extension cases present specific design decisions around tissue relief, extension length, and whether a flexible partial is actually the right prosthetic for the clinical situation. For those cases, we offer a 10-15 minute pre-fabrication call with the lead technician at no charge. We will tell you if the case is better served by a cast metal partial framework. That conversation happens before fabrication, not after a failed delivery.
Do you offer flexible full dentures or only partials?
Our standard flexible denture workflow covers partials. Full-arch flexible dentures are not a service we currently offer at Dani Dental, as the clinical indications narrow considerably for full-arch flexible bases. If your patient requires a full denture, our conventional acrylic full denture and implant-retained overdenture services are available with the same named-technician case management and 5-business-day turnaround standard.
What information should the prescription include for a flexible partial?
Required items: tooth numbers to be replaced, arch, occlusal vertical dimension or opposing model, tissue shade preference, any extension or relief notes, and patient photos if available. Optional but helpful: digital scan STL or physical impressions, articulated models, and a note on the patient's parafunction history if relevant. Incomplete Rx submissions get a same-day clarification call. Complete submissions go straight into the production queue.
