Every gold crown case at Dani Dental runs through our Cast-Gold Quality Gate protocol, a four-checkpoint workflow built around the specific physical properties of high-noble alloy. The process starts with impression or digital scan intake. For analog impressions, we pour die-stone models within two hours of arrival and assign a named bench technician before the case enters the wax-up phase. For intraoral scans, we accept STL files from any major capture system, including iTero, 3Shape TRIOS, and Medit, and convert to a working model in our CAD station before the technician reviews occlusal clearance and prep geometry in the same session. Wax-up and burnout follow Type III or Type IV alloy selection based on the prep design the referring dentist specifies. Thin margins and heavy occlusal stress cases default to Type IV. Full-cast posterior units are sprued, invested, and cast in a single-day session so the technician who waxed the crown is the same one reviewing the casting. That single-technician continuity is not a marketing claim; it is how we catch alloy flow defects and marginal voids before they reach the finishing bench. Finishing runs a three-point marginal check: visual inspection under 4x magnification, die-fit seating, and a digital caliper measurement at the four cardinal margin points. How do you verify marginal fit before shipping?

Our tolerance gate is 25 microns. Units outside that threshold are recycled and recast. We do not adjust or patch margins to pass the gate.
