Do I still need to send a physical impression as a backup when submitting a scan?
No. For cases where the scan presents clear margins, adequate occlusal data, and full arch capture, the digital file is the sole production source. We request a physical backup only when the scan has identifiable gaps at the margin or bite registration artifacts that would affect fit. That situation is uncommon with modern intraoral scanners operated in standard clinical conditions.
How quickly does a Denver account receive confirmation after uploading a scan?

We describe exactly what is ambiguous and what additional data would resolve it. The case does not enter production until the ambiguity is resolved, because building on a questionable margin produces a remake, and remakes cost your chair time.
Can scan cases include implant-supported restorations, or only natural dentition?
Scan-based workflows at Dani Dental cover the full restorative range: natural dentition crowns and veneers, implant-supported single units, implant bridges, and full-arch hybrid frameworks. For full-arch cases, we recommend including a scan body scan alongside the tissue-level anatomy. If you have not run full-arch scan cases before, your technician can walk through the scan protocol during onboarding.
