Las Vegas Occlusal Splint / Night Guard

Las Vegas dentists deal with a patient population that brings an unusual concentration of bruxism and clenching cases. Irregular sleep schedules, high-stress hospitality work, and frequent late-night activity translate directly into cracked cusps, worn enamel, and stressed TMJs walking into your operatory on Monday morning. You need appliances that fit the first time. Adjustments eat chair time, and chair time in a busy Las Vegas practice is the one resource you cannot manufacture more of.

THE DETAIL

How we build it.

Large national-network labs route your occlusal appliance through a centralized design hub, a separate milling center, and a finishing department that may never speak to each other. By the time a fit question surfaces, the case has touched four departments and nobody owns it. We are a single-facility lab. The technician who designed the occlusal scheme is the one who picks up when you call the direct number on the case card. High-volume clearinghouse labs compete on price by standardizing everything to one acrylic formulation and one articulation protocol. That works fine for a textbook bruxer with class I occlusion. It fails on the edge cases, and Las Vegas practices see edge cases regularly: patients who clench bilaterally with significant wear facets, patients with posterior implant crowns that need a different occlusal contact scheme, patients whose jaw position shifts under stress. Dani Dental's technicians write case notes, not just ticket numbers. When something about your scan looks unusual, we call before we mill, not after. The family-owned structure also means pricing is transparent. There is no procurement layer between you and the person quoting your case. Occlusal appliances are quoted per-unit with material type and turnaround tier stated upfront. No setup fees, no account minimums to unlock the standard rate. If you are sending two cases a month or twenty, the per-unit price is the same and it is visible before you commit.

GETTING CASES TO US

Logistics, to the bench.

Dani Dental fabricates occlusal splints and night guards from milled hard acrylic, milled soft laminate, and dual-laminate constructions depending on what your clinical notes call for. Every case starts with a digital scan file (STL from any intraoral scanner) or a traditional PVS impression, your choice. The occlusal surface is designed to your prescribed occlusal scheme, articulated against the opposing arch, and finished with polished edges that seat without chairside grinding. Hard acrylic splints ship with a Sof-Lex finish. Dual-laminate variants use a 3mm hard outer shell bonded to a 1mm cushion liner. Turnaround from scan receipt to delivery runs 5 to 7 business days standard, with a 3-business-day rush lane available on request. Your Las Vegas practice address is in UPS Next Day Air coverage from our Arizona facility, which keeps the transit leg under 24 hours. If a fit issue does arise, the fabricating technician's direct line ships with every case. You call the person who built it, not a routing queue.

COMMON QUESTIONS

What practices ask

Which impression or scan formats does Dani Dental accept for occlusal splint cases?
We accept STL files from any intraoral scanner, including iTero, 3Shape TRIOS, Carestream CS 3600, and Medit i700. Traditional PVS or polyether impressions are also accepted. If you are sending a physical impression, include a bite registration and opposing arch model or scan. Cases submitted digitally before 10 a.m. MST enter the same-day queue; physical cases enter the queue on arrival day.
What construction options are available for night guards?
We offer three constructions: milled hard acrylic (2mm, 3mm, or custom thickness), milled soft laminate for mild to moderate bruxers, and dual-laminate with a hard outer shell bonded to a 1mm cushion liner. Dual-laminate is the most common choice for heavy bruxers because it absorbs impact while maintaining occlusal stability. Indicate your preference on the prescription or call to discuss based on the clinical picture.
How does the 3-business-day rush turnaround work for Las Vegas practices?
Submit your scan or impression with RUSH noted on the prescription. Rush cases enter the milling queue same day if received by 10 a.m. MST, next morning if received after. Finished appliances ship UPS Next Day Air to Las Vegas, which puts delivery within 3 business days of scan receipt in most cases. Rush carries a flat surcharge stated at submission, no surprise billing.
What happens if the occlusal splint does not seat correctly on delivery?
Every case ships with the direct phone number of the fabricating technician. Call that number, describe the fit issue, and we will determine whether the case needs a remake or a minor adjustment. If the issue is attributable to our fabrication, the remake ships at no charge with priority turnaround. We do not route warranty calls through a general support queue. You reach the person who built it.
Do you fabricate mandibular advancement devices or only standard bruxism splints?
Our occlusal appliance line covers hard acrylic flat-plane splints, permissive and directive designs, and dual-laminate night guards. Mandibular advancement devices for sleep-disordered breathing are a separate category requiring specific FDA-cleared device registrations. Ask us directly about current MAD fabrication status; that service category is subject to regulatory review and may be available through a referred partner.
Is there an account minimum to order occlusal splints from Dani Dental?
No minimum. Per-unit pricing applies regardless of monthly case volume. You can submit one splint case or twenty without unlocking a different rate tier. Pricing by material type and turnaround is available upfront before you submit your first case. We do not require a contract or setup fee to begin working together.
