Oklahoma City Occlusal Splint / Night Guard

Oklahoma City practices prescribing occlusal splints deal with the same clinical range as any metro market: bruxism management, TMD symptom relief, post-restorative occlusal protection, and sleep-adjacent appliances for patients who are not yet candidates for a full sleep study referral. What changes city to city is the shipping window and the communication loop. From the Oklahoma City metro, standard ground delivery to our Arizona facility runs one to two days each direction, which keeps the total case cycle inside a single patient appointment cycle for most splint types.

THE DETAIL

How we build it.

Most national-volume labs route occlusal appliance cases through a generalist production line. The technician finishing your splint may have no record of the case history, no access to the doctor, and no flag when an occlusal contact reads off on the finished piece. Dani Dental assigns a named technician to each account. That technician's direct line ships with every case. If an Oklahoma City doctor calls with a seating question on a Friday afternoon, they reach the person who built the appliance, not a call-center tier.

GETTING CASES TO US

Logistics, to the bench.

Dani Dental fabricates hard acrylic night guards, dual-laminate splints, soft thermoplastic guards, and Michigan-style flat-plane splints. Prescriptions come in by digital scan file (STL or .niri from any major intraoral scanner) or by conventional PVS impression with a poured model. If your practice is mid-transition to digital workflow, we handle both without a surcharge or a separate submission portal. The technician assigned to the case reviews occlusal contacts on the articulated model or in the digital articulator before the appliance goes to trim and polish. For Oklahoma City doctors building or refining a bruxism protocol, we can also support sequenced case work: diagnostic splint first, then restorative planning once the adapted centric posture stabilizes. That two-phase approach is something we coordinate directly with the prescribing doctor, not through a third-party account rep.

COMMON QUESTIONS

What practices ask

What impression or scan formats do you accept from Oklahoma City practices?
We accept digital STL files from any major intraoral scanner, including iTero, 3Shape TRIOS, and Medit. Conventional PVS impressions with poured models ship via standard carriers from the Oklahoma City metro and arrive at our Arizona lab in one to two business days. No separate portal is required for either submission method. Mixed-workflow practices can submit either format on a case-by-case basis.
What is the standard turnaround time for an occlusal splint from an Oklahoma City doctor?
Standard fabrication runs five to seven business days from receipt of the impression or scan. That window covers articulation review, milling or pressure-forming, trim, polish, and quality check by the assigned technician. Rush cases are available on request; contact us before submitting to confirm current rush capacity. Add one to two days each direction for shipping from the Oklahoma City metro.
Which splint designs do you fabricate?
We fabricate hard acrylic flat-plane splints (Michigan-style), dual-laminate splints with a hard outer shell and soft tissue-side, full-coverage soft thermoplastic guards, and NTI-style anterior bite stops. Prescription notes should specify design preference, thickness, and whether the appliance is for the maxillary or mandibular arch. If no design is specified, a technician will contact you before fabrication begins.
How does named-technician accountability work in practice?
Every case submitted to Dani Dental is assigned to a specific bench technician before fabrication starts. That technician's direct contact information ships with the finished appliance. For Oklahoma City doctors, this means seating questions, adjustment requests, or remakes go directly to the person who built the piece, with no account-rep intermediary. Response time is within four business hours on business days.
Can you support a two-phase bruxism protocol with a diagnostic splint followed by restorative planning?
Yes. We coordinate sequenced case work directly with the prescribing doctor. Phase one produces a diagnostic flat-plane splint to allow centric relation adaptation. Once the doctor confirms occlusal stability, typically over four to eight weeks of patient wear, we can proceed with restorative planning records. Communication for sequenced cases routes through the assigned technician, not through separate departments.
What is your remake policy if a splint does not seat correctly?
If a splint does not seat due to a fabrication error, we remake it at no charge. The doctor contacts the assigned technician directly, explains the seating issue, and ships the appliance back with the original model or a new impression if significant time has passed. Our current remake rate across occlusal appliance cases is under 2.5%, which we track internally. Cases where the seating issue traces to a distorted impression are handled on a case-by-case basis with the doctor.
