The design is built in a shared environment so you can mark up the file, request an incisal edge adjustment, or flag a contour issue without going back to the beginning. Revisions happen in the design phase, not at the delivery stage. Which intraoral scanner formats does Dani Dental accept for digital case design?
We accept files from all major intraoral scanner platforms including iTero, 3Shape TRIOS, Dentsply Sirona CEREC, and Medit. STL and PLY exports from any of these systems import directly into our design environment. If your practice uses a less common format, contact us before the first case ships and we will confirm compatibility within one business day.
How does the named-technician model work for San Francisco cases?
When a case is assigned, you receive the direct contact information for the technician handling your design. That same person manages all revision rounds and coordinates with production. You are not emailing a general inbox. For ongoing San Francisco accounts, many doctors work with the same technician across multiple cases, which shortens the back-and-forth because design preferences are already documented.
What is included in the three revision rounds?

For these cases, the design review typically involves a scheduled 20-minute call with the technician rather than asynchronous markups, so the occlusal scheme is confirmed verbally before the file is finalized.
What happens if a case requires changes after the design is approved and production has started?
If a clinical change occurs after design approval and the case has entered milling or fabrication, we stop production immediately upon notification. Whether the case can be reworked at the design stage or requires a new start depends on how far into production it is. We give you that assessment within two hours of your notification, and we provide the cost and timeline before any further work is done.
